What We Treat

Conditions We Treat

The area that hurts is not always where the problem began.

Pain is a signal, not the whole story. The area that hurts is not always where the problem began — so care starts by working out what is actually driving it.

Below are the conditions most often seen in the office. If yours is not listed, get in touch — it does not mean it cannot be helped.

The spine and nervous system

Spinal Health

Back Pain

Acute or chronic, upper or lower. One of the most common reasons people first come in, and one of the best-evidenced uses of chiropractic care.

Neck Pain

Stiffness, restricted turning, and pain that radiates into the shoulders or arms — often linked to posture, desk work, or an old injury.

Headaches & Migraines

Headaches that originate in the neck and upper spine, where restricted joint movement and muscular tension are contributing factors.

Hip Pain

Pain in the hip and surrounding musculature, including cases where the hip is compensating for a problem in the lower back or the foot.

Sciatica

Pain travelling from the lower back through the buttock and down the leg, typically where a nerve root is being irritated or compressed.

Scoliosis

Assessment and supportive care for curvature of the spine, focused on mobility, comfort and function.

Extremities

Dr. Moseley is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) — care is not limited to the spine.

Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff

Restricted or painful shoulder movement, including rotator cuff involvement and the compensations that follow it.

Arm Pain

Pain, weakness or altered sensation in the arm, including symptoms referred from the neck.

Elbow Pain

Tendon and joint pain at the elbow, including the overuse patterns common in racquet sports and manual work.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Numbness, tingling and weakness in the hand and wrist — assessed at the wrist and along the whole nerve path, including the neck and shoulder.

Knee Pain

Knee joint and surrounding soft tissue pain, including cases driven by hip or foot mechanics rather than the knee itself.

Leg Pain

Pain through the thigh, calf or lower leg, including referred and nerve-related pain.

Plantar Fasciitis & Foot Pain

Heel and arch pain, assessed alongside foot mechanics and gait. Orthotic support is available where it is contributing.

Injuries

Herniated & Bulging Discs

Disc injury in the lumbar or cervical spine. Flexion distraction therapy offers a low-force approach where a disc is involved.

Auto Accidents & Whiplash

Neck and spinal trauma following a collision, including symptoms that only appear days or weeks afterwards.

Pinched Nerve

Nerve compression or irritation causing pain, numbness, tingling or weakness along the nerve's path.

Sports Injuries

Acute and overuse injuries across all levels of sport — knees, shoulders, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis and achilles complications among them.

Falls

Injuries following a fall, where the impact affects the spine, pelvis or extremities.

Sprains & Strains

Ligament and muscle injuries, and the movement restrictions that persist after the initial injury has settled.

Overuse & Repetitive Strain Injuries

Cumulative injuries from repeated movement at work, in training or in daily life.

Other Conditions

Poor Posture

Postural patterns that load the spine unevenly and contribute to pain over time — assessed alongside the work, training and daily habits driving them.

Arthritis

Supportive care for osteoarthritic joints, focused on maintaining movement and managing discomfort.

Bursitis

Inflammation of the bursa at the shoulder, hip or elbow, and the joint mechanics that contribute to it.

TMD / TMJ

Jaw joint pain, clicking and restricted opening, frequently occurring alongside headaches and neck tension.

Flat Foot & Foot Mechanics

Fallen arches and altered foot posture, assessed for their effect on the knee, hip and lower back.

Vertigo & Dizziness

Dizziness associated with the neck and upper cervical spine, where joint dysfunction is a contributing factor.
